STEAM Cards! Time to trade

Hi all

Since this morning you can now play THE BODY CHANGER and collect CARDS to achieve emoticons and Profile wallpapers.

End of August update

Hi people!

Time for a new updates after the usual weekly meeting – this week x2 :P.
Sector-10 is having some minor palette changes on last part and we are thinking where to put the interactive PCs for the story infos. Plus now the rooms have names and it was stress-tested.

On other things: we added in the hints list a new one for switching between the SynBs, with the mouse wheel, and fixed some texts.
We have changed the position of an info PC in Sector-1, because there were too many in a room and we are adding a new info text that will appear during the first fight with the Kebre – here:

We added another 2 achievements, one for the last Sector and one for the Yellow Ray, just like the blue and the green one.
So right now we have added all the achievements from our list (last Sectors, end game…) + some more, everything is ready and uploaded on STEAM. We just need to finish last stuff and upload a new version and complete the end scene.

Alessio is changing the levels for adding some collectable items following a list we wrote months ago.

The idea of the collectable items is also “related” to a new feature of the game you will see soon.
Alessio is working on an exporter/converter for all the languages texts – when it will be ready we will have the possibility to manage all the texts… just to time for making the translation 😉

Sector-08 second part

Last week you saw the new Sector-08 with screens from first part, today we want to show you some new progress.

Thanks to more testing the first part that you saw changed a bit. We removed a collectable key because it was useless, on gameplay side, re-ordered some invisible triggers and balanced the enemy-groups spawn order again. Why again? We decided to introduce here a new bonus for the Ighel SynB because the action oriented direction of the puzzles was sometimes a bit frustrating with the characters change, during the enemies attack. This is one of the common case where you think and design a game situation with all the details in mind (time, single action duration, rooms size, stuff inside…) and then, when you finally build it, you find out that something didn’t work that much as expected. But with the new bonus the situation flips and we must say that it really kick ass and it’s amazing how nice the multiple SynB use works now, while under attack!

On the first major puzzle we make the introduction more intuitive and added on a “special zone” some graphical hints, so it should be clear for the player what to do and we change a bit last part that was in some way skippable in the first version. The following puzzles changed with the elements timing and the enemy numbers and were adapt in some parts with the new bonus in mind. The final result is really very well balanced: you should now fell that if something didn’t work and you die, it’s your fault and not the game, you just need to try a better strategy or find a better way to defend and solve.

Some cards

Hi all,

today we meet for the weekly point-of-the-situation and we are finally on the new Sector – slowly but we are on it. Even if it’s winter we will still continue with the development, maybe even more then usual. 😉
For the STEAM gamers here are 2 previews of the game cards:

Another thing: last demo version, 0.5.25,  had a BUG with the V-Blade on the STORY MODE. It’s fixed and ready to be downloaded on IndieDB and also for the Desura users.So if you have demo 0.5.25 please download version 0.5.26 .

SALE TIME! ONLY FOR THE WEEK END + updated DEMO with ARENA MODES

New ALPHA! Survive and KIll them all in the 3 new ARENA MODES


A new and HUGE update is finally available with a lot of nice things and a most of all: the 3 NEW GAME MODES are finally available! 

To unlock the menu with the Arena Modes you need to finish sector 1 (so you will have reached the minimum of combat knowledge). After this you will be able to play with the first area – we will add more and more areas in the future alphas. 

Any mode is about fighting and surviving but has a unique game mechanic with a special set of custom weapons, so it’s not simple shot-or-die (and use and abuse of the combos for making points) but you need to follow the mission and kill as many as possible enemies (by making combos!). 
Because the Arena Modes were born for having great time in fast plays and make more points as possible we will add soon STEAM LEADERBOARDS. So, train now as much as possible 😀 

But the update is not only about this, so here is our current development change log: 

  • UPDATED HUD ICONS: the objects icons are now brighter with a stronger stroke around and we fixed also a Z-index “bug” where the icons were drawn BEHIND instead of in front of the selector.
  • UPDATED HUD SELECTOR and TABS: elements are now all blue with less alpha for better contrast and the selector in particular is completely new, with a nicer and more modern design
  • DIFFICULTY OPTION is no more available from the option menu – when you will start a new game you will also choose the difficulty level
  • NEW GUI ELEMENTS: we have made a new group of elements for the in-game pop-ups that we will include asap.
  • GAME TEXTS are now all into an unique file, from menu to game text to story – you know, order is always better 😉

Next to come: include Sector 6 in current story mode, insert the leaderboards in the 3 new game mode, add the new GUI elements and continue with Sector 7. 

So, let’s hope you will hear the applause (???) when you will playing the new game modes, have a lot of fun and please comment if you have suggestions or just if you like it.

Hi people 
we are still aliÇe and still Çery b▓sy – you know, for making the best game possible. 😉 
After completing Sect▓r 6 – even if it still n▓▓d some more tests – we are on an old idea that we really really – bzzzz -really lovÇe, since RE4. 😉 

We don’t want to spoil anything but bbb-zzzz….let j▓st say it’s abo▓t 3 new gameplaybzzz…bzz▓zz…. modes based on some of TBC main game mec-ZZZZZ-Bzzzzzzzzz -anics.
